Helping Clients Succeed

FranklinCovey's Sales Performance Practice helps sales leaders and learning and development professionals evolve sales teams personally and professionally to enhance performance, achieve sustainable results and gain the ultimate competitive advantage.

Our History

FranklinCovey’s Sales Performance Practice dates back to more than 15 years ago when Stephen M. R. Covey brought in Mahan Khalsa to join the Covey Leadership Center, given the remarkable alignment between the Covey principles and Mahan’s work. From that auspicious start, Mahan founded the Sales Performance Practice and continued to gain recognition as a world-renowned expert in business development and business-to-business sales.

Under the power of the FranklinCovey brand, Mahan’s body of work called Helping Clients Succeed expanded around the world. The Sales Performance Practice continued to flourish and attracted a number of exceptional practitioners and thought leaders, including Randy Illig and Craig Christensen.

In 2007, Randy, Craig and Mahan co-founded a new joint venture with FranklinCovey called Ninety Five 5. Practicing what they taught, they built a company to help sales leaders and learning and development professionals sustain behavioral change that drives increased business performance and results.

Ranked in the 2012 Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing companies in America, Ninety Five 5 focused on how to get great sales training content to truly “stick”—to become pervasive to the point where it becomes the foundation of a high-performance coaching sales culture.

When FranklinCovey acquired the remaining interests in Ninety Five 5 in 2013, the best of Ninety Five 5 was integrated with FranklinCovey’s extraordinary content, worldwide brand and international reach, positioning the Sales Performance Practice to become one of the world’s largest and most respected sales enablement companies.

Today, we begin our third generation of growth together. Through Helping Clients Succeed, we have trained more than 36,000 sales professionals and coached more than 2,600 sales leaders, impacting more than hundreds of thousands individuals worldwide.

We believe we’ve finally cracked the code on how to successfully transform a sales organization and build a best-in-class sales culture.
